Augie and Yogi
Updated: May 12
If you walk into the Yogi Berra Museum on the campus of Montclair University in New Jersey you'll see a wonderful display of baseball artifacts from baseball legend Yogi Berra. Both Yogi Berra and Augie Donatelli are linked by their contributions to Major League Baseball and also their efforts during World War II. The above depiction of their famed confrontation during the 1973 World Series was painted by Augie's son Patrick Donatelli decades ago.
